Pretty Girl

Home and Scrapped Mid Week Sketch 22-12!  I love this pic of Fia.  The flowers were hand made and given to me as a RAK by the lovely Sarah and so were the doilies.  The butterfly was a gift from Heather.  Thanks for your help in creating this ladies!

A very productive Cyber Crop!

We have a lovely cyber crop over at home and scrapped.  Here are my completed LO's

Heathers Challenge - we had to scrap a receipt, and she gave us a lovely sketch for inspiration.  This was, of course, and excuse to go shopping at Michaels.

This is Ange's first challenge, we had criteria to use based on our names.  I used Jewels and ended up with Journalling, Embossing, White Cardstock, Chipboard, and Stamping.

This is Anges second challenge - to scrap about mom using one of Heathers mid week sketches.  I love this picture of her.

This is my challenge, to use monotone patterned paper scraps and I provided the sketch.

It was a wonderful CC, quiet, but productive!  Make sure to make a visit over to Home and Scrapped in June for the CC I'm hosting with the lovely Karen!  We will have all the mojo you need!

Great Gecko!

This is Austin catching geckos in florida.  He spent hours and hours chasing them.  Can't believe he managed to catch so many!  They're fast!
This is a LO I made for Sarahs Cinchie (circle twinchies) challenge over at Home and Scrapped.  The usual suspects are here, basic grey chip board, and PP's.  That gorgeous checkered back ground is from the out of print collection, which i love.  Some thickers from american crafts for the title.  Pretty simple.

Time to make:  30 min.
No geckos were harmed in the making of this layout!

There's Something Awfully Fishy Going On Around Here...

Midweek Sketch from Scrappy Sketches!

This is from our Florida trip this year when the boys went deep sea fishing.  The background paper is from the Basic Grey Wander collection, which I am, of course, in love with.  Also played with my new Crocs Rule Cricut Cartridge.

Lucky Catch

This weeks mid-week sketch from Home and Scrapped.  Hubby managed to catch a sting-ray through the fin and pull it out of the water.

An Enchanted Evening

Midweek sketch from home and scrapped.

This is a picture of hubbys parents at a family wedding we went to on Halloween.  Everyone dressed in costume.  We had a great time.  The table setting was also beautiful, and we got masks to take home.

Busy Week

It was a busy week at my scrap desk this week. I went on a crop and made the following LO's with a lovely basic grey kit I've had for ages...

When I did this one I just threw the rest of the scraps leftover together on a page and inked everything. I found the papers in this one to be similar in tone, so the inking really helps them stand out from one another.

love the colours in this one. I had a lot of fun inking the flourishes with alcohol inks.

This was a sketch from colourful creations. This is some basic grey from the jovial line which I fell in love with. The store didn't have the entire kit, but I wish it did. So different!
This is the midweek sketch from home and scrapped. More alcohol inks on grunge board and glossy paper. Save the packaging from your stickers and try your inks on it. You'll be surprised with the results and also be saving money!

This is my March Challenge at Home and Scrapped. Pop over to see the whole challenge.

At this point my scrap room looks like a bomb blew up in it. Sigh. No more scrapping until it's clean!

Wrap It Up

Midweek Challenge at Home and Scrapped! This looks so much better in real life. The red back ground is blood red, but the lighting in my scrap room does not lend to picture taking.

I will grow

The January Home and Scrapped Journaling challenge.. Gotta love that basic grey paisly paper. I used up a lot of scraps here AND got to try out my new cricut cartridge.

A Splurge, just because!

I splurged at Walmart and picked up a new cricut cartridge. Isn't it amazing? I've been drooling over it for a while. This means my entire scrapping budget for the month is now gone, but it should keep me busy for a while!

I'm on a Design Team!

Hey guess what? I've been selected to be on a design team! The term is only 4 months, which is probably good, because that means we can all share the work load and no one gets overwhelmed or burnt out. I will now be creating monthly challenges over at Home And Scrapped! Here is the LO that won me the spot.

This is based on a Sketch by Heather Waldron.

So come on over and visit me at H&S. The girls there are very friendly and welcoming and there is always something to do!

Sticky Foam

This is a layout I completed for a Home And Scrapped Step-by-step that was created by the lovely Heather. I painted and inked the Tim Holtz flourishes, painted and stamped the background PP and did some distressing. The lovely blue flower was part of a flower swap at Home And Scrapped, and that lovely linen beauty was made by Heather Waldron. The PP's are both Basic Grey. I'm happy with the way it turned out. The photo's weren't the best, but the blue sure livens them up!
